Shed Serenity

60 x 90cm
gouache on board
Framed in Tas Oak

“As the world news comes crashing into our lives on TV, I feel a sense of anxiety being far away from suffering people in war devastated areas. My go-to place is the old shed down the back where I can relieve anxious moments, picking flowers in the garden and going there to create a wonderful floral arrangement to help heal my aching heart. This image holds that sense of serenity; our resident magpie contemplates the loss of love and companionship in faraway places. See past this and feel blessed to be able to enjoy the beauty of nature within our environment.”
