Our unique purpose-built sandstone and mudbrick studio is a welcoming creative space that reflects many years of working with artists and collectors from across Australia. Although our gallery is now primarily online, visitors can still enjoy viewing a wide range of artworks in the gallery space, along with the growing collection of contemporary ceramics that Robyn Williams is currently studying and developing. The studio also holds an eclectic collection of old and new picture frames from our long history as a framing studio, adding plenty of character and stories along the way. It’s a relaxed and inspiring place to visit – full of art, objects and ongoing creative exploration.

An uplifting and visually rich exhibition featuring two contemporary Australian artists whose work explores ideas of refuge, beauty, and stillness through very different lenses.

Jacki Fewtrell Gobert focuses on vibrant, often pink-washed interiors filled with charm, curiosity, and contemporary flair. Her paintings transform everyday domestic scenes into joyful, colourful compositions that speak of comfort and creativity.

Hannah Goggs (aka The Moody Rabbit) turns her attention to the Australian bush, painting birds and wildflowers in soft, muted tones with a distinctly modern sensibility. Her works are serene, atmospheric, and deeply respectful of the natural world, offering a quiet, contemplative counterbalance.

Sanctuaries is about the spaces we retreat to – whether they’re the interiors we shape around us or the landscapes that shape us in return. This exhibition promises to delight viewers with its harmonious mix of whimsy, calm, and contemporary style.
