Adam Galic

Adam Galic feels a strong connection with the land and spent his early years exploring the creeks and waterways that run through the bush. His works capture the dramatic light and shadow that transform the uncultivated vegetative landscape. Residing in Helensburgh, the surrounding beaches and National parks are now the main source of his inspiration and give him a sense of serenity that shows through in his works. Adam completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011 at the National Art School majoring in oil painting. He has been a finalist in the SBS portrait prize - 2020 and a semi-finalist in the Lethbridge landscape prize (salon) -2021.
